Brenda Casey is a pre-accredited Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist with a BSc (Hons.) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, whose practice is uniquely informed by over 30 years of experience in nursing and midwifery. Her extensive clinical background allows her to bring a grounded, compassionate, and embodied approach to psychotherapy, meeting clients with depth, sensitivity, and respect.
Brenda Casey holds an MSc in Bereavement and Loss, awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), and has over a decade experience supporting women through infertility, miscarriage and perinatal grief. Brenda supports women, partners, and families through the emotional complexities that can arise before, during, and after pregnancy. Brenda works with arrange of issues including anxiety, depression and low self- esteem. Her work is guided by trauma-aware principles, attachment theory, and a humanistic belief in each person’s innate capacity for healing and growth.
Brenda Casey develops and facilitates workshops for the Irish Hospice Foundation, collaborates with and is an occasional lecturer to midwifery students at University College Dublin (UCD) These roles reflect her longstanding commitment to education, reflective practice, and improving professional understanding around grief, trauma, and reproductive mental health.
